WHY GIVE?

Hospice House

Your donation will support our Hospice House, ensuring that patients with acute end-of-life needs will have a safe and peaceful environment for their final days.  We offer a sliding scale payment approach for families with financial hardships, and donations help to make this possible.

Senior Services

Madrone Hospice ensures that hundreds of meals are distributed to seniors in need throughout Yreka and North County every weekday. We are there to help seniors get to the grocery store, the pharmacy, and doctor’s appointments. We offer our senior community information and access to assistance, and provide them a place to gather and socialize. Your contributions to Madrone Hospice help to guarantee that these resources continue.

Quality, Compassionate Care in a Rural Setting

With your donation, you are supporting kindness and compassion in end-of-life care for the people of Siskiyou County. Rural businesses may find it challenging to navigate the economics specific to small-town life. Support from our community ensures we can stay true to our roots in Yreka and the surrounding area.

Bereavement Care

Financial contributions to Madrone directly support our bereavement services that are available not only to people who have recently lost a loved one in hospice, but to anyone in the community who may need to be counseled through the experience of loss. Supporting Madrone provides direct support to the people of Yreka and Siskiyou county.

Our Palliative Care program

Madrone’s Palliative Care team works with community members who may need support with medical needs, but are not yet ready for hospice care. For patients and families who feel overwhelmed and confused about how to manage a patient’s needs, our palliative program can be a real lifesaver.  These services are provided free-of-charge to those in need, and we cover expenses with financial support from community donations.
