Patient Care Volunteers:
Hospice patient care volunteers provide respite for caregivers and support for patients and their families facing end of life issues.

As a patient care volunteer, you may help with . . .
Shopping Transportation Errands Reading Letter Writing Listening
Light Housekeeping Providing Caregiver Respite

Hospice House volunteers:
Any smooth running home requires tender loving care and the volunteers help make the Hospice House feel like home!

In the Hospice House you may . . .
Visit Patients Listen Play Music Read Work in the Gardens Take a Patient for a Walk
Help Serve Food / Help Someone Eat Wash Windows, Tidy Up & Fluff Pillows

Senior Program Volunteer:

Assist the kitchen staff
Help serving meal trays to seniors Assist with lunch area cleanup Help with delivery of Meals on Wheels

Volunteer in the front office
Answering phones Dispatch senior bus Clerical help

Volunteer to help with senior activites

Hospice Shop, Used Furniture & Bookstore Volunteers:
It’s amazing to open bags and see what's being donated to hospice! Sort, price and organize donations, sell merchandise, run cash register. Get experience, meet people, have fun!! Volunteer input makes hospice shops successful.

Heartisan Boutique Volunteers may . . .
Create unique home décor items from recycled goods, or meet people & sell merchandise.
