If you have a life-threatening illness causing emotional or physical distress, call the Palliative Care Team. Team members will counsel patients and families when medical decision-making becomes difficult. They will listen and provide support through all stages of an illness.

Explore options for the next step in managing your illness Discuss your condition with your doctor Understand Advance Directives Manage pain or other distressing symptoms Cope with feelings of being confused and overwhelmed Discuss spiritual needs Improve communication with your family about your illness Provide education and support regarding available resources

One-on-one consultations with patients and families Professional education and collaboration concerning palliative care, symptom management and complex decisions Psycho social and spiritual support to patients and families as they face complex issues and decision-making
