Transportation/Senior Bus – 841-2365
- Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 4:00 p.m. Please schedule 24 hours in advance
- Buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts and provide door-to-door service and assistance
- The suggested contribution is $1.00 per ride for the Yreka area.
- Bus service is also available from areas of Hornbrook, Montague, and Grenada. The bus provides pick-up between 9:30 and 10:00 am, with return trips leaving Yreka at 2:30 pm. The bus provides services to Montague on Mondays and Thursdays. Bus service to Grenada is on Tuesdays. Call for reservations and details. Cost is $3.00 for each of these one-way trips.
Center Meals – 841-2365
- Yreka: Monday through Friday, 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the Yreka Community Center, 810 North Oregon St. in Yreka.
- Center Meals are more than a healthy, tasty meal – they are also an opportunity for conversation and socialization. Meals are prepared onsite with an emphasis on quality, home-cooked food.
- Diabetic and other special needs meals are available upon request.
- The suggested contribution is $3.00. Meals are available to non-seniors for $4.00.
- Scott Valley: 841-2365. Meals are privided at the Greenview Senior Center on Monday & Wednesdau, 12:00 - 1:00 pm. The suggested contribution is $3.00.
Home-Delivered Meals – 841-2365
- Monday through Friday meals are delivered to homebound seniors within three miles of Yreka city limits.
- Seniors living outside the service area may have a friend pickup frozen meals for the week on Fridays.
- Individuals must complete an application to be determined eligible for home delivered meals.
- The suggested contribution for home delivered meals is $3.00
- Scott Valley: 841-2365 Home delivered meals are provided throughout Scott Valley. Five meals a week are delivered each Wednesday. The suggested contribution is $3.00
